Sleep Prevention

Hello out there!

Recently I’ve decided not to write in the evenings.  Normally, in the past, I’ve written for about 3 hours in the morning and 1 hour in the evening 5 days a week.

I’m currently working on a reincarnation novel about a woman who goes to a small community in Vermont and becomes confused because she begins to remember her past life, some 88 years before the current year.  The novel has some sound, interesting characters and a good story.  However, it also gets rather dark in places and very intense.  As a result, when I was working on it in the evenings, I would have trouble sleeping.

My wife suggested that I should try reading at night, instead of writing.  I’m doing that and I’m sleeping quite well.  I’ll try this for awhile.  So far it’s working.

I have great hopes for this novel.  The characters are engaging and the plot is quite intense.  I think it’s going to be a winner.

Have a good day.
